Open Mic Night

The founder of Creatif LLC, Tiffany Pogue, is organizing an Open Mic Night Fundraiser for the Clotilda Descendants Association on March 11th, 2023 at the House of Ate Stax Art Gallery in the Bell Air Mall from 6pm-9pm. Tiffany is a direct descendant of the Clotilda slave ship survivor, Pollee Allen. She has chosen to dedicate the funds of our second Open Mic Night Fundraiser to the Clotilda Descendants Association to honor the legacy of her ancestors.

The Clotilda Descendants Association is a non-profit organization working to preserve the historical significance of Africatown. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to the Clotilda Descendants Association. Learn more about the organization at: https://theclotildastory.com/ After the costs of the event are covered, all proceeds will be distributed to the treasurer of the Clotilda Descendants Association directly from the organizer.

The event will feature 20-30 local spoken word artists, musicians, and visual artists within Mobile, AL. There will be an open bar available for all guests aged 21 and older. Entry by invitation/donation only. Any donation under $100 grants one (1) invitation to the donor. (Simply show your confirmation email at the door.)
